The Release Squelch State is defined by a Conventional Personality’s (ASTRO or Non-ASTRO) Select Call / In-Call Reset field selection, or a Trunking Personality’s ICUA Reset field selection. |
For call alerts, the Release Squelch State begins when the In-Call User Alert feature is active and the radio has unmuted. |
When a timed selection is made for the unmute-exception, how long the Release Squelch State continues is determined in part by an Auto Reset Time field. |
